About Simon Kim

Hi, I'm Simon Kim, a dedicated high school student currently attending Westtown School. I have a strong passion for Taekwondo, swimming, art, and the fascinating world of science.

At this stage, I am actively exploring a variety of interests, both inside and outside the classroom, with a long-term aspiration to become a dentist. I’m genuinely fascinated by how healthcare can profoundly change lives, and I am particularly drawn to the hands-on, patient-focused nature of dentistry, which allows for meaningful and direct impact.

Outside of academics, I commit myself to rigorous training in Taekwondo and competitive swimming. These activities have taught me invaluable lessons in discipline, focus, and resilience. Whether I’m preparing for a belt test in Taekwondo, gearing up for a swim meet, or tackling an academic challenge, I consistently bring a strong work ethic and a sincere desire to keep growing and improving in all areas of my life.

As I look ahead toward college and a future healthcare career, I remain eager to continue learning, stay physically active, and contribute positively to my community in meaningful ways.
